Trendfilm Etchlook delivers the realistic look of etched glass with the flexibility of a window film. This material is semi-opaque, allowing natural light to pass through while still creating privacy.
Unlike traditional etched glass, it installs easily using wet apply technology, which allows for repositioning during application and helps minimize bubbles or wrinkles. It also supports custom full-color printing, giving you the ability to turn plain glass into branded or decorative displays. Built for durability, Trendfilm Etchlook performs for up to seven years, making it a reliable and versatile solution for both short-term and long-term applications.

Wet Apply Installation Guide
Installing Etched Glass Vinyl is straightforward with the wet application method—a technique that ensures a smooth, bubble-free finish. Here are a few best practices:
- Surface Prep - Clean the glass thoroughly with a lint-free cloth and a non-ammonia cleaner. Any dust, debris, or residue will show through the film.
- Application Solution - Mix water with a few drops of mild dish soap in a spray bottle. This allows the film to be slid into place without immediate adhesion.
- Squeegee Technique - Starting from the center and working outward, use a soft squeegee to remove excess fluid and air bubbles. Apply even pressure for the cleanest results.
- Edge Sealing & Drying - Pay special attention to the edges to ensure proper adhesion. Allow 24-48 hours for the film to fully set and cure.
