Founded in 1956 by Leon Gregory, Gregory Sign Advertising began as a central Kansas sign shop known for hand-lettered signs, billboards, and screen-printed graphics. By the 1960s, Leon was already pushing boundaries; expanding into electric and neon signage and becoming an early adopter of 3M’s adhesive-backed and reflective films, recognizing their long-term impact on the sign industry.
Gregory made a decisive shift to become a Trade Only supplier, phasing out electrical signage and hand lettering to focus exclusively on screen printing and die-cut vinyl.
