So, how does it work?
The UV-DTF printing process involves printing in reverse onto a specialized film using UV-curable inks that are instantly cured with light. A white ink layer is added to create opacity and durability, and then a transfer film is laminated on top. The result is a tough, scratch-resistant graphic that can adhere to glass, plastic, metal, acrylic, and more, making these a go-to choice for a wide range of industries and products.
When it comes to applying these sticker-like decals, it’s pretty simple - peel, stick, and apply. Our example below breaks it down:
1.
Clean the Surface with soap/water or rubbing alcohol and prepare your sticker by placing it face down (white backing facing up.) Use a credit card or an application squeegee to press over the whole design
2.
Slowly remove the White Backing from the sticker. If any parts of your graphic lift, lay it back down, re-squeegee, and try peeling again.
3.
Place your StickerGruv Design on your product, then use your credit card or your squeegee and press it in place and remove any air bubbles.
4.
Grab the corner of the clear carrier sheet and slowly peel it away from the sticker. Make sure all pieces of your graphic are sticking well to the product. If not, no worries, lay the clear carrier sheet back down, and squeegee again and focus on the edges.
