How do I remove fingerprints from 3M™ Protection Wrap Film?
Matte finish films may show fingerprints more prominently, but these can be cleaned off by wiping the film surface with a clean lint-free towel saturated with a mixture of 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and 30% water. Wipe the film surface dry afterwards.

What cleaning solutions are recommended for 3M™ Protection Wrap Film?
Wash the vehicle with a neutral shampoo. Cleaning with strongly alkaline, acidic, or alcoholic cleaning agents should be avoided, as they may permanently damage the film. Do NOT use abrasive cleaning pads, brushes, and similar products as doing so will permanently damage the film.

After film installation, wait one week before waxing your vehicle to help ensure the film has built the proper level of adhesion.
