Our marketing and leadership team created a beautiful wall mural for the Gregory Headquarters, but getting the design finished and approved was only half the battle. 

Now we needed advice on what material to print on - It's a good thing we know a few people in the sign and graphics industry.

Our next step was to choose the laminate. The designer in us knew that we didn't want a lot of reflection off of the graphics, as our space has a lot of natural light. We also wanted something that would provide a higher-end aesthetic. 3M 8915 to the rescue! It's a beautiful matte finish that reduces the glare from our well-lit lobby.

When it comes to high-performance wall graphics, 3M IJ180cv3 is one of our go-to solutions. Known for its excellent conformability, clean removability, and outstanding print quality, this cast vinyl is a top choice for long-term applications.

Its print surface handles color beautifully, and for this job, it really made that punchy red pop. The detail and vibrancy in the branding, messaging, and graphic elements came through perfectly, without any color shift or distortion.

To protect the mural and add a clean, professional finish, we laminated the prints in-house using 3M 8915 Matte Overlaminate. This gave the mural a smooth, glare-free appearance. Perfect for interior environments where lighting can vary. 

The matte finish also added a level of sophistication and helped prevent scuffs and surface reflections from distracting from the message. Because we control the lamination process internally, we ensure tight quality standards and a fast turnaround for our installers.

After printing and laminating, we prepped each panel for our installers. Each wall mural was carefully paneled with a half-inch overlap between sections, giving them just the right amount of room to align and trim for a seamless appearance on the wall. 

The install team arrived on-site with materials that were ready to install. 

The pressure-activated adhesive on the IJ180cv3 also gave them the flexibility to reposition panels during installation, ensuring everything lined up perfectly without compromising the finish.
